Job placement after CCIE R&S certification course training

Hi friends! My name is Shankar and I did my CCIE R&S certification course training from Network Bulls. After the course completion I got a job placement in Chandigarh Government Project as a Network Engineer. I am grateful to Network Bulls for providing me with this opportunity. Before joining Network Bulls for CCIE R&S certification course training I was dicey to choose CCIE certification as a career. Many of my friends advised that as a fresher CCIE certification does not hold a good point in the resume but I was adamant on my choice and to clear doubts I went to Network Bulls to enquire about the career prospects. I spoke directly to the technical team and they explained me how CCIE certification holds a very good market value even as a fresher. CCIE Security V4, CCIE Voice/Collaboration and CCIE R&S V5 certification offered by Cisco Systems are one of the unequaled certifications in the entire networking industry. So I was deeply convinced and then I registered myself in the course . During my trainings I never faced any kind of issues be it for queries, practical and job placements.

The management team supported me well and it’s there consistent efforts that helped me get such a wonderful job that to in a government sector.

Good morning. My name is ajay and I have some doubts regarding networking. Before i'm giving a little introduction of mine. I want to make my career in networking. I done my CCNA r&s , RHCE and next planning to do CCIE r&s. I have done my summer training from HP on advanced networking (topper during training and received an award from HP) and right now working as an intern in Hewlett-packard on networking, n/w security, linux administration and cloud . I also designed and implemented a fully functional enterprise standard campus wide LAN for my college. Also participated in many web development and research projects. The actual problem is I have few backlogs in my b.tech degree (B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering-2014). And my backlogs are those subjects which are not directly related to networking (calculus, geometry, engineering and computer graphics, language theory etc). I completed all technical subjects (Electronics, computing, programming, database and datamining, networks and security, distributed systems etc). I'm interested to work on I.T Infrastructure services domain and espicially over networking and cloud. 1) Considering above given information can you please tell me wether I can get a job in I.T networking? 2) I'm aware that most of companies today ask degrees , but is there any chance companies consider skill and talent ? 3) any diplomas or short term / open degrees available in networking stream that fill my deficit? 4) what s the case in other countries ? (some said gulf has more n/w..ing jobs) 5) any other suggestions, essential information you can provide. Thanks in advance.

HI Ajay, Good to know that you have backlogs and still you managed to get a good job in company like HP. Yes, you can get a job in Networking, but chances will be less as most of the companies ask for graduation degree. Yes companies are looking for talented people like you only, but still to satisfy client's creteria is their number one priority. As its not companies who need graduates for their projects, but clients demand well educated Graduates along with great technical skills. As American express' project for Networking is with HP right now, and if American Express demands graduate engineers to look after their project, HP can not dare to hire undergraduates because at the end of the day client will pay the bills of HP. :) Do not mind it, but it's true. Yes there are some distance learning centers which offer one year graduation programs and most of the companies accept these degrees as well. And why can't you just appear for your backlogs and clear them and earn Btech degree. :) Yes companies in GULF has more openings than India even and thousands of Indians go there every year and are earning handsome salaries too. IN countries like Dubai they have many many job openings of Network Engineers and they even hire freshers and undergraduates too. Good luck.
